¡ Disponible "Earth" ! / "Earth" available !!

Finally, and though it seemed this day would never arrive, "Earth" is available at jamendo and restorm for you to listen and download, as usual, for free.

As I told you, it's the first of three albums that will cover the topics of "Earth", "Hell" and "Heaven" .

For this first installment, Earth, I tried to describe with my music the process that took from the Big Bang to the apparition of life on Earth and, finally, the human being.

It took me two years to complete it, and my intention was to come back with a different sound and approach. I think I've made it, in a way.

Hope you enjoy it.

Hola Jaime.

Preciosa obra,
desde el principio
con sus mezclas de notas
hasta que termino, como un niño.

No me olvido del medio,
prácticamente prefecto.
Así lo veo y es mi gusto,
así lo disfruto.

Gracias Jaime
por emocionarme.

Hi, Jaime,

Listening to the "Life" part I expected to hear a dramatic mood composition representing the survival and natural selection aspects of life traditionally associated with wildlife. Curiously, the track doesn't sound like that and is much more quiet than the first spacetime (my favorite) part. Why is it?

Sincerely,

Paul.

Hello Paul,

What you say is true, that part could be interpreted with a more dramatic music... Somehow the image I had in mind was simplistic: First, apparition of life in its more simple and microscopic form, then vegetal life (That's why there's an extended quiet part in the middle, I had this image of a green rainy planet) and then, almost at the end, the music should start growing a bit, which would be the "animal" part of evolution, until man appears on the last second before the third track.

As you know this is intended to be the first part of three albums. I wanted Earth to be somehow between Hell and Heaven, son I wanted it to have heavier and more "violent" parts (Which are on the first half) and more peaceful bits...

Anyway, it could be the other way round, I guess. Please don't feel limited by the titles, though. Any picture the music brings to your mind is completely valid.

Thanks for listening and for your comment.

Thus the cracking sounds near 12:23 definitely do not come from a fireplace. ;)

Actually, it is a fire... Caused by a lightning on the previous storm..

But if you wish to take that part out of context, it is in fact some dude playing guitar by a camp fire...
