Algunas noticias y una nueva colaboración / Some news and a new collaboration

El año empieza con noticias y novedades.

Sigo adelante (muy despacio, por desgracia) con la grabación de mi nuevo álbum. Puedo adelantaros que se llamará "Earth", y seguro que os sorprenderá... Pero os daré más detalles en breve.

También en Ear3 estamos trabajando en un proyecto de dimensiones faraónicas para este año. La cosa va avanzada pero también va lenta. También ire desgranando detalles de ésto en próximas entradas.

Por último, una nueva colaboración. Se ha publicado el álbum "Jazz Friends 2012", y PeerGynt Lobogris me pidió que colaborara en un tema suyo con un pequeño solo de xaphoon. El xaphoon es un instrumento de viento fabricado en Hawai con bambú... Me gusta mucho, pero es un instrumento de Satanás y no soy capaz de tocar afinado todavía. Pese a ello, Lobo es muy cabezota y ha incluído el solo en el tema. Se llama "Uncertain Nights" y lo podeis escuchar aquí. Prometo mejorar de cara al futuro.

Some news to start the year.

I progress (very slowly, unfortunately) on the recording of my new album. I can tell you now it will be called "Earth", and it will surely surprise you ... But I will give you more details soon.

Also in Ear3 we are working on a pharaonic scale project for this year. The thing is quite advanced but also moving on slowly. I'll also disclose details of this in further entries.

Finally, a new collaboration. It has been released the album "Jazz Friends 2012" and PeerGynt Lobogris asked me to collaborate with him on an track, adding a small xaphoon solo. Xaphoon is a wind instrument handmade in Hawaii of bamboo wood... I like it a lot, but it is a tool of Satan and I am not able to play tuned yet. Despite this, Lobo is very stubborn and has included the solo, though. It's called "Uncertain Nights" and you can listen to it here. I promise to improve my playing in the future.

Hola de nuevo,

rompo este largo silencio para anunciar que podeis escuchar un tema nuevo titulado "Life Finds a Way" ya mismo. Está incluído en un álbum de varios intérpretes llamado "Proyecto Futura", iniciativa de Nebur Maik.

Podeis escucharlo online o descargar el álbum desde su web oficial.

A su vez el tema es un adelanto del álbum en que estoy trabajando ahora, que estará listo en 2012, y del que iré desvelando detalles a partir de ahora. Como vereis una de las novedades en el sonido es que he incorporado la guitarra eléctrica como un instrumento importante al sonido. Espero que os guste.

PD - Os habreis dado cuenta también que he cambiado de logo y cabecera en el blog. Renovarse o morir.

Hello again,

I break this long silence to announce that you can listen to a brand new track titled "Life Finds a Way" right away. It's included on a various artists album called "Proyecto Futura", conceived by  Nebur Maik.

You can listen online or download it from its official Web.

 At the same time, it's an advance from the album I'm working on right now, which will be released in 2012. I will be unveiling further details from it from now on. As you will notice, one of the novelties in the sound is the notable presence of electric guitar. I hope you like it.

Como sabes toda la "Rework Series" iba destinada a regrabar algunos de mis primeros temas que consideraba que sufrían de una producción mejorable. Una vez completada, he vuelto a compilar todos mis álbumes con las versiones finales de cada uno de los temas, y los he colgado todos aquí.

No sólo podreis escuchar y descargar todos los álbumes en sus versiones definitivas, sino que también están disponibles en formato FLAC, es decir, audio sin pérdida de calidad, al contrario que los MP3.

Todos los álbumes con el añadido "Definitive Version" en el título contienen temas modificados (En la "Rework Series" o en las recopilaciones) con respecto a las versiones originales.

Especialmente interesantes considero "El Hombre Que Venia del Siglo XX" y "El Astrouanta" / "The Astronaut", que he vuelto a mezclar por completo especialmente para esta ocasión.

Espero que disfruteis de ellos. Estas son, por fin, las versiones definitivas.

As you know all the "Rework Series" was aimed to re-record some of my older tracks that I considered were suffering of a poor production. Once completed, I have compiled all my albums again with the final versions of every track, and you can find them all here.

Not only you can listen and download all the albums in their definitive versions, but they also are available in FLAC format, which means, quality lossless audio, in opposition to MP3.

All the albums with the phrase "Definitive Version" added to the title contain modified tracks (On the "Rework Series" or in the compilations) from their original versions.

I consider of special interest "El Hombre Que Venia del Siglo XX" and "El Astrouanta" / "The Astronaut", which have a brand new mix specially developed for this oacasion.

I really hope you enjoy them. These are, at last, their definitive versions.

Nueva Colaboración con Yvalain / New Collaboration With Yvalain

Mi amigo Yvalain ha publicado un nuevo álbum, tras dos años de trabajo. Se titula "Soul Colors", y he tenido la suerte de colaborar en tres de los temas: Los instrumentales "Some Relief" y "Little Hero's Dream" y la canción "Yesterday I thought I Had Solutions". En los dos primeros temas he contribuido un poco a la composición, añadiendo alguna frase para completarlos, mientras que en el tercero he añadido un pad y un piano eléctrico.

El álbum completo está lleno de buenas canciones y estoy muy contento y agradecido de formar parte de él.

My friend Yvalain has released a new album, after two years of work. It's titled "Soul Colors", and I've been lucky enough to play on three tracks: : The instrumentals "Some Relief" and "Little Hero's Dream" and the song "Yesterday I thought I Had Solutions". I have contributed a little bit on the composition of the first two, adding some phrases to complete them, while I have added a pad and an electric piano on the third.

The whole album is full of great songs and I feel happy and grateful for being part of it.
