Nuevo Canal en Youtube / New YouTube Channel

Los más observadores os habreis fijado en los enlaces del lado derecho que he añadido un enlace a mi nuevo canal de youtube. En él podreis encontrar videos realizados por mí o por cualquiera que quiera hacer uno, con música mía, tanto ya conocida como inédita o a ser publicada en álbumes futuros.

Ahora mismo ya hay colgadas un par de cosas: La animación que hizo Butcho basada en el álbum "The Astronaut", dividida en tres partes, y un tema nuevo, que aparecerá en mi próximo álbum. Aunque el álbum va a tener muchas guitarras acústicas, este tema es fundamentalmente para piano. Se titula "El Hombre de Volos", y es un homenaje a mi admirado Vangelis. Los vídeos los podeis ver al final de la entrada.

Maybe some of you have realized a new link on the right side of the blog, directing to my new youtube channel. There you'll find videos made by myself or anyone who wants to contribute, using my music, already published or even unreleased or from upcoming albums.

Right now there are a couple of things: Butcho's animation inspired on "The Astronaut", splitted in three, and an unreleased new song taken from my upcoming new album. Though the album will be rich in acoustic guitars, this track is basically just piano. Its title is "The Man From Volos", and it's a tribute to my admired Vangelis.

Hace algún tiempo, alguien apodado Butcho me mandó un mail pidiéndome permiso para usar música de mi álbum "The Astronaut" para una animación flash en la que había estado trabajando durante meses, inspirada por aquella. Totalmente excitado por la idea, y deseando, como estaba, verla, acepté. Aseguro que no esperaba nada tan fantástico. Butcho ha hecho un trabajo increíble. Las imágenes son inspiradoras, arrebatadoramente hermosas en ocasiones, y me siento más que orgulloso de que mi música esté ahí. Agradezco a Butcho de corazón su maravilloso trabajo.

Por cierto, acabo de darme cuenta de que hoy se cumple 1 año de la publicación del álbum.. ¿Casualidad cósmica?

Some time ago, someone nicknamed Butcho mailed me and asked me permission to use music from my album "The Astronaut" for a flash animation he had been preparing for months, inspired by it. Absolutely excited by the idea, and willing to see it I accepted. I assure I didn't expect anything this great. Butcho has done an amazing work. The images are inspiring and breathtaking, and I'm more than proud that my music is there. I want to thank Butcho for his superb work.

FG3 - Guitars that rule the free world

Free Guitars es un proyecto sin ánimo de lucro creado por PeerGynT LoboGris. En él se pretende una reunión de guitarristas de la música libre. Todos los temas con sus respectivas licencias Creative Commons pertenecen a cada uno de los artistas que en él participan, así como sus derechos comerciales.

El álbum es una maravilla y merece la pena a pesar de mi participación. Los músicos son todos fantásticos y el resultado es realmente brillante y variado.

Ya tuve el gusto de contribuir con un pequeño solo de piano en uno de los temas del primer volúmen, pero para este segundo he cedido un tema nuevo ("Mirando al horizonte") en el que, como no podía ser de otro modo, predomina la guitarra. No doy ni mucho menos la talla, pero Lobo acabó convenciéndome, de modo que ahí estoy. Lo que sí os anuncio es que el tema sirve de anticipo de lo que vais a encontrar en mi próximo álbum, que se encuentra en proceso de grabación.

Free Guitars is a non-profit project created by PeerGynT LoboGris. It tries to unite free music guitar players. All tracks with their own Creative Commons licenses are owned by each one of the participating artists.

The album is wonderful and totally worth your time, despite my participation. All musicians are really fantastic and the result is brilliant and varied.

I had the pleasure of contributing with a tiny piano solo in one of the tracks of Volume 1, but in this second I have given a brand new theme ("Looking at the horizon") in which, as you can guess, guitar prevails. I'm not good enough at all, but Lobo persuaded me, so there I am. What I can announce you is that this track can be taken as an advance to the kind of sound you'll find on my next album, which is is being recorded at the moment.

Nuevo single de Ear3 / New Single by Ear3

Se acaba de publicar el segundo single de nuestro grupo virtual Ear3, en la línea de rock progresivo del anterior tema. El título es "The Explorers". Personalmente me parece mejor tema que el primero.

En esta ocasión, a Lobo, Gael y a mí se nos ha unido Blond Blood a la batería y percusiones.

Pronto añadiré otra entrada al blog para explicaros cosas del próximo álbum en el que estoy trabajando.

The second single from our virtual group Ear3 has just been released. It follows the prog-rock path of the previous single. Its title is "The Explorers". I personally like it a lot more than the first one.

This time, Lobo, Gael and me have been joined by Blond Blood, who plays drums and percusions.

Soon I will update the blog with news about my upcoming album, in which I'm working at the moment.

Nuevo Proyecto: Ear3 / New Project: Ear3

Era cuestión de tiempo que Lobo, Gael y yo volviésemos a trabajar juntos. Después del proyecto abortado de Blue Spirits - Chapter II, allá vamos otra vez con Ear3, un proyecto de música experimental y progresiva, rock, por supuesto. La formación oficial queda así:

Jaime Heras: Teclados, Sinths, Drums machine, Compositor.
Gael Berthon: Bassguitar, Drums machine, Compositor.
PeerGynT LoboGris: Guitars, Drums machine, Compositor.

Nuestra idea es ir trabajando sin prisas en temas sueltos e ir publicándolos como singles. Y la tarjeta de presentación, este tema.

It was about time that Lobo, Gael and me worked together again. After the ill-fated Blue Spirits - Chapter II project, there we go again with Ear3, an experimental and prog-rock aproject. Line-up so far is :

Jaime Heras: Teclados, Sinths, Drums machine, Compositor.
Gael Berthon: Bassguitar, Drums machine, Compositor.
PeerGynT LoboGris: Guitars, Drums machine, Compositor.

Our idea is working slowly track by track and release them as singles as we finish them. Our And our business card is the track above.

Cambios / Changes

Aprovechando que al publicar "El Último Peldaño" PeerGynt LoboGris diseñó un logo para mí, he decidido cambiar las portadas de todos mis álbumes para incluir el logo.

El resultado es el que podeis ver al final de esta entrada.

Por otro lado, he añadido una sección en el blog, bajo la discografía, donde se pueden ver los vídeos que se van colgando en youtube con música mía. Me gusta mucho el resultado, así que estoy muy agradecido a sus autores.

Due to the fact that when releasing "El Ultimo Peldaño" PeerGynt LoboGris designed a logo for me, I have decided to change the covers of all my albums to include the logo.

The result can be seen below.

Besides, I've added a new section to the blog, under the discography, where you can watch the videos that are being published on YouTube using some of my music. I really like the results, so I thank very much their authors.

Siderea publicado / Siderea is out

Ya está disponible en jamendo mi nuevo álbum "Siderea".

Este álbum consta de largas piezas electrónicas muy espontáneas basadas, una vez más, en la contemplación y exploración espacial.

"Siderea" es una suite inspirada pos los ciclos estelares

"Kaleidoscope" está inspirada por el cuento del mismo título de Ray Bradbury

"Beyond The Edge of Knowledge" se inspira en cómo la exploración e investigación científica tratan de ir más allá de la frontera de lo que ya conocemos, expandiéndola constantemente.

Musicalmente está lleno de influencias de Jean Michel Jarre, Tangerine Dream y Vangelis.

My latest album "Siderea" is available in jamendo.

This album consists of long electronic pieces, quite spontaneous, based, once again, on space observation and exploration.

"Siderea" is a suite inspired by the stellar cycles.

"Kaleidoscope" is inspired by the Ray Bradbury's tale of the same title

"Beyond the Edge of Knowledge" is inspired in how scientific exploration and investigation try to go beyond the frontier of what we know, constantly pushing it forward.

Musically, the album is full of influences of Jean Michel Jarre, Tangerine Dream and Vangelis.

Novedades breves / Brief news

El pasado 31 de Julio se publicó FG3 Volumen.1, un proyecto de PeerGynt LoboGris, en el que él se pretende una reunión de guitarristas de la música libre. En este primer volumen participan Daniel Bautista, Dani de Saro y PeerGynT LoboGris.

Yo colaboro con un solo de piano bastante atípico en el tema "Mediterráneo".

Lobo ya me ha animado a participar en una futura entrega, con el pánico que me genera atreverme a grabar un tema en el que la protagonista sea la guitarra. Ya veremos lo que ocurre.

Ya se encuentra disponible para descargar el programa del pasado 31 de Julio de "El Último Peldaño" (Por ejemplo, aquí. Es el programa 167). Como siempre, la gente del programa con Joaquín Abenza a la cabeza me hicieron sentir como en casa y dedicaron un generoso espacio del programa al álbum "El Último Peldaño". Aprovecho para darles las gracias una vez más.

Por último, os adelanto que ya está casi listo mi nuevo álbum que, si no pasa nada, se publicará los últimos días de Agosto o los primeros de Septiembre. Su título será "Siderea", y os adelanto la portada. Más detalles del disco cuando se publique.

On July 31st FG3 Volumen.1 was published. It's a project by PeerGynt LoboGris, in which several free music guitar players reunite and contribute with common and personal tracks. On this first volume you will find Daniel Bautista, Dani de Saro and PeerGynT LoboGris.

I contribute a quite atypical piano solo on the track "Mediterráneo".

Lobo has encouraged me to participate on a future volume, in spite the panic that causes me recording a track in which guitar is the main instrument. We'll see what happens.

You can all download now program 167 from July 31st of the radio show "El Último Peldaño" (For instance, here.) As usual, people from the show, with Joaquín Abenza heading made me feel at home and devoted a generous time slot of the show to the album "El Último Peldaño". Thank you all once again.

El 31 nos oimos en la radio / Hear you on the radio next 31st

El próximo viernes 31 tendré el gusto de ser invitado de nuevo a "El Último Peldaño", donde se presentará mi álbum homónimo en lo que será el último programa de esta temporada. El programa se emite a partir de las 23:30 hora peninsular de España por Onda Regional de Murcia, y se podrá seguir en todo el mundo a través de la web de la emisora. Allí os espero.

En otro orden de cosas, el segundo lugar de los álbumes más populares de esta semana está ahora ocupado por "Sueños de Babel", en el que como sabeis tuve el honor de participar, mientras que "El Último Peldaño" se mantiene en la sexta posición, con más de 3700 escuchas en 10 días de publicación. Cuando aún me dura la alegría por lo bien que marcha "El Último Peldaño", se publica el nuevo álbum del proyecto de Babel Sin Fronteras, proyecto dirigido por Jorge Estrada en el que varios autores de distintos paises aportamos piezas inéditas bajo un mismo tema central. En esta ocasión el tema son las canciones de cuna y, de forma más amplia, el mundo de los sueños.

While I'm still happy with the great reception to "El Ultimo Peldano", the new album from the Babel Sin Fronteras project has been published. Babel Sin Fronteras (Babel without frontiers) is a project directed by Jorge Estrada in which several composers from different countries contribute with unreleased tracks under the same central theme. In this ocasion the leit-motiv is lullabies and, more in general, the world of dreams.
