Ished - Believe (Official Video)

Como sabeis ahora mismo mi actividad musical está centrada en el grupo con el que toco, Ished. En uno de nuestros últimos ensayos grabamos un sencillo videoclip para acompañar "Believe", uno de nuestros temas.

DIARIO DESDE EL INFIERNO 1

Ésta es la primera entrada de una serie para contaros cómo avanza el proceso de creación del nuevo álbum "Hell".

Como sabeis, éste será el segundo de una serie de tres álbumes llamados "Earth", "Hell" y "Heaven". He tardado casi dos años en ponerme en marcha con este segundo volumen, pero como me ocurre siempre tras la larga cuesta arriba la cuesta abajo es pronunciada y rapidísima. En estos momentos el álbum está compuesto casi por completo y ya hay unos 30 minutos grabados en demo (En mi caso las propias demos van evolucionando hasta convertirse en el álbum definitivo), de modo que en unas cuantas semanas espero poder traeros el infierno por fín.

Por cierto, en caso de que no lo hayais visto aún, aquí teneis un fragmento de adelanto del nuevo álbum.

JOURNAL FROM HELL 1

This is the first entry in a series to tell you how the creation process of the new album is evolving.

As you know, this will be the second of a three album series, named "Earth", "Hell" and "Heaven".
It took me almost two years to get me going with this second instalment, but as it always happens to me after the long uphill a steep and really fast downhill comes. Right now the album is almost totally composed
and there are about 30 minutes of music already demoed (In my case demos evolve to become the final album), so hopefully, in a few weeks, I'll be bringing you hell at last.

By the way, in case you missed it, here you have an excerpt from the upcoming album.

 

Nuevo Proyecto / New Project "The Inmutant Opera"

De las cenizas del grupo virtual "Ear3" nace "Singing Sands".

En una onda de rock progresivo experimental con múltiples influencias, hemos escrito y compuesto la Opera Rock "The Inmutant", una historia apasionante en clave de ciencia ficción hecha música. Con unos 15 cortes y una duración aproximada de 80 minutos este trabajo promete satisfacer a los amantes del género...

From the ashes of virtual band "Ear3", the new band "Singing Sands" rises.

With a experimental & prog rock feel, and with multiple musical influences, we have written and composed the rock-opera "The Inmutant", a thrilling science fiction story made music. With 15 tracks and about 80 minutes of duration this work promises to satisfy this genre lovers...

"Earth": Nuevo álbum en Otoño / "Earth": New album in Autumm

El primero de los dos lanzamientos importantes en que estoy implicado este año está ya en su recta final. Se llama "Earth", y es el primero de un ciclo de tres álbumes que llevarán por título "Earth", "Hell" y "Heaven", cada uno con un estilo totalmente diferente. En el primero de ellos, "Earth", la guitarra eléctrica tiene mucho peso, siendo seguramente el álbum más rock que he hecho hasta la fecha. Tendrá 4 temas, dos de ellos largos, con una primera mitad algo más agresiva y una segunda más calmada.

Ésta será la portada del álbum:

En estos momentos lo estoy completando y espero que podais escucharlo a principios de Otoño, en una plataforma aún por decidir.

The first of the two important releases I'm part of this year is heading its final stage. It's called "Earth", and it's the first of a three albums cycle which will be called "Earth", "Hel" and "Heaven", each one with totally different style. On this first album, "Earth", electric guitar will be prominent, being the most "rocky" album I've released so far. It will contain four tracks, two of them very long, with a more aggresive first half and a more calm second. You can see the cover up there.

At this moment I'm completing it and I hope you'll be able to listen to it in early autumm, on web still to be decided.

Vídeo de "Los Días Olvidados"

En mi canal de youtube he colgado un nuevo vídeo, en esta ocasión interpretando "Los Días Olvidados". Ésta interpretación formará parte de la mezcla final del tema que incluiré en el recopilatorio que hará las veces de cierre de esta etapa antes del descanso del que os he hablado, y que publicaré, casi seguro, en Octubre. En la próxima entrada os daré más detalles sobre el recopilatorio.

In my youtube channel I've published a new video, this time performing "Los Días Olvidados". This performance will be part of the final mix I'll include in the compilation album that will close this stage before the break I told you about, and that will be hopefully released in October. In my next post I'll give you more details about it.

Más vídeos con mi música / More videos with my music

Sigo con atención y agradecimiento los videos que voy encontrando por la red con música mía. A continuación me refiero a algunos de ellos:

• Especialmente orgulloso y contento estoy de que mis amigos de la Asociación Provincial de Autismo y/o TGD de Jaén usen música mía en sus proyectos y presentaciones. Algunos ejemplos aquí, aquí y aquí. Una buena ocasión para dar a conocer la labor que desarrollan.

• El pintor Juan Carlos Julián usa música mía para hacer pequeñas presentaciones con sus pinturas. Por ejemplo, ésta y ésta.

• Una presentación que me ha gustado mucho es ésta, llamada "Los Pequeñines Macabros". Desde luego, la cosa hace honor a su nombre, pues se trata de ilustraciones de "The Gashlycrumb Tinies", de Edward Gorey, un abecedario en el que cada letra corresponde a la muerte de un niño.

• Y por último, y no por ello menos importante, es el documental sobre los 20 años del Telescopio Espacial Hubble que ha realizado Victor Ruiz, que usa un par de temas de "The Future is Over". Documental magnífico, por cierto.

I pay grateful attention to the videos I find across the web using my music. Here I refer to some of them:

• I feel specially proud and happy that my friends from the Jaen Autism Association use my music for their projects and presentations. Some examples here, here and here. A good chance to know the work they develop.

• Painter Juan Carlos Julian uses my music for small presentations with his paintings. For example, here and here.

• A presentation I really liked is this one, called "The Gashlycrumb Tinies". It's an alphabet by Edward Gorey in which each letter stands for a child's death.

• And last but not least, a documentary about the 20th anniversary of the Hubble Telescope made by Victor Ruiz, which uses a couple of tracks from "The Future is Over". Fantastic documentary, by the way.

Nuevo Canal en Youtube / New YouTube Channel

Los más observadores os habreis fijado en los enlaces del lado derecho que he añadido un enlace a mi nuevo canal de youtube. En él podreis encontrar videos realizados por mí o por cualquiera que quiera hacer uno, con música mía, tanto ya conocida como inédita o a ser publicada en álbumes futuros.

Ahora mismo ya hay colgadas un par de cosas: La animación que hizo Butcho basada en el álbum "The Astronaut", dividida en tres partes, y un tema nuevo, que aparecerá en mi próximo álbum. Aunque el álbum va a tener muchas guitarras acústicas, este tema es fundamentalmente para piano. Se titula "El Hombre de Volos", y es un homenaje a mi admirado Vangelis. Los vídeos los podeis ver al final de la entrada.

Maybe some of you have realized a new link on the right side of the blog, directing to my new youtube channel. There you'll find videos made by myself or anyone who wants to contribute, using my music, already published or even unreleased or from upcoming albums.

Right now there are a couple of things: Butcho's animation inspired on "The Astronaut", splitted in three, and an unreleased new song taken from my upcoming new album. Though the album will be rich in acoustic guitars, this track is basically just piano. Its title is "The Man From Volos", and it's a tribute to my admired Vangelis.
